MESC secures the first package in Kuwait New Refinery Project – Main processing unit

KNPC new refinery is a world-class grass roots refinery to produce low sulfur fuel oil to replace high sulfur fuel oil used in local power plants. This large scale refinery is designed to process 615,000 BPSD of light Kuwait crude oil or 535,000 BPSD of heavy mix Kuwait crude oil. This refinery uses latest technology to comply with stringent environmental regulations to protect the local environment, and at the same time produces the latest environmentally friendly ultra-low sulfur diesel fuels for worldwide markets as well as jet fuel, kerosene, and naphtha feedstock for petrochemical plants.

The project is a significant one and it places KNPC amongst the first global refining companies in terms of refining capacity and producing environmentally friendly fuel that meets all international environment conditions. MESC has secured the first order in this Mega project with an order to supply instrumentation and control cables for the main processing unit with Tecnicas Reunidas/Sinopic / Hanwha Engineering

MESC-RAK Receives a direct Purchase order from BAPCO

Wholly owned by the Government of Bahrain, Bapco is engaged in the oil industry including refining, distribution of petroleum products and natural gas, sales and exports of crude oil and refined products. The company owns a 264,000 barrel-a-day refinery, storage facilities for more than 14 million barrels, a marketing terminal and a marine terminal for its petroleum products. 95% of the company’s refined products are exports. Bapco is primarily engaged with exploration, refining, storage, production, marketing, training and development, and environmental initiatives in the kingdom.

MESC-RAK has secured the first direct purchase order from BAPCO to be supplied completely from MESC-RAK  facility . this a very important addition to MESC-RAK approvals and supply record.

A cooperation agreement conclude with the Disabled Children’s Association

Middle East Specialized Cables Company (MESC) and Disabled Children’s Association signed a memorandum of understanding, as a National Initiative for safe driving (Ya3tek Khairha ), which aims to reduce the incidence of disability through all possible means. Mr. Aiman Al-masri – MESC president – represented MESC at the signing of the memorandum. Mr. Suleiman Mansour represented – Executive Director of the National Initiative for driving safe “Ya3tek Khairha ” he had expressed his happiness with this cooperation with (MESC) Company with his thanks and appreciation to the management of the company on their interaction and their consent to participate in the program, initiative and cooperation with the Assembly.

Middle East Specialized Cables Co (MESC) Announces that its Accumulated Losses Reach to 29% of its Share Capital.

Middle East Specialized Cables Co (MESC) announces that its accumulated losses reach to 29% of its Share Capital, where accumulated losses was SR 175 million as of 31/12/2016 and the company’s share capital is SR 600 million.
The main reason for these accumulated losses is related to the company’s share losses from the Jordanian subsidiaries over the previous years.
Due to the above, the procedures of Article 3 (When Accumulated Losses of a Company Reach 20% or more and less than 35% of its Share Capital) of (Procedures and Instructions Related to Listed Companies with Accumulated Losses Reaching 20% Or More of Their Share Capital) will be applied from 22nd April 2017 based on Board of the Capital Market Authority Resolution Number 1-130-2016
